I Rajat Roy aged 38 years old. I live in Delhi along with my wife Mallika, daughter Sreeja and my mother. Unfortunately, my daughter is suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (a form of blood cancer) detected in the month of October, and is in undertoing treatment for this (chemotherapy). You know, this is a deadly disease and require at least 8-10 lakhs in indian currency. Being a middle class father, it is very expensive treatment to me and I am afraid about that in case I cannot arrange this money, the treatment of my daughter may be stopped. I would request you and Ajay including all of the bollywood stars to come across and help me in any kind (fund) to save my daughter’s life. If you can do she can back to normal life and will lead a healthy life in future.

I am hoping that you will receive this communication. I recently viewed your episode with Kajol and the lady who is a strawberry picker in Panchgani. What you are doing is commendable and the show is entertaining. I enjoyed watching the contest among the young ladies and your interview with Kajol. When you informed the lady about receiving 8.5 lakhs of rupees, I became acutely aware of her humiliation as she cried. One does not lose one’s sense of pride just because one is poor. You may want to present her with a check in private and then ask if she would agree to an interview. This may give her some time to reconcile with the fact and face the public more comfortably. To be paraded as a charity case on national tv without any warning and with all eyes piteously looking at you is not something you want imposed on you. I am sure, you do not mean to be condescending. Please reconsider this aspect of your show.
